Hey Everybody! Thanks for coming to my page! This page is all about how to wear make-up while your Cheerleading. Enjoy!
On the cheerleading practice, game, or tryouts, you would want to look
natural and not too overdone, but you also want to look nice. I have
collected some information here and will be updated some more on them.
No nailpolish. Enough said.
Foundation shouldn't be overdone, and you don't want to look like you have
piled on heavy makeup. But you still want the even complexion. Try a light
formula like Bonne Bell No Shine Oil Control Makeup or Prescriptives
Virtual Skin, a lightweight liquid that still gives coverage.
Eyeshadow needs to be subtle , so yo want to make it a light sweep by
shading along the upper lashline to intensify your own eye color.
Mascara shouldn't be piled, only one coat is good enough. Go darker and
not thicker with Cover Girl Natural LashDarker or Nat Ribbons Lash
Building Marcara. I'd suggest waterproof mascara so it won't drain down on
your face with that sweat.
A light spritz for your fragrance will make you feel great before you go on.
Try Harmony by Afterthoughts or Love's Baby Soft. Don't go on rich
fragrance. You'll just feel icky. (All above by American Cheerleader Mag.)
And my favorite fragrance?? GAP !!! They smell sooo good...!! But I
wouldn't try CK one for your sports adventure.. they won't mix too well with
all that icky sweat.
Your lips don't need to be red, though it might help if you have some color
on your lips so when you smile, it shows more of your smile and it might
look better. Wear a light lipstick that is barely there such as barely there
color from Jane. I've noticed that it helps my smile look better. Don't go
matte.. it's kinda distracting. If you want to go on the safe side, don't put
anything at all or just apply chapstick.
When you apply powder, don't dust all over the place. I suggest powder such
as no shine - oil control powder by Maybelline, and just dust the place where
you get oily the most - your nose, cheekbones, and around your nose. If
you're especially oily, then dust all the areas but don't cake your face. It will
make your face look fake!
Blush?? Well, I wore a little but not a whole lot to cheerleading.
If you want some blush on your face, don't make it obvious.
Lightly dust it once and then blend well.
In all, I think you shouldn't wear makeup at all. Just go natural. I didn't
wear makeup AT ALL when I tried out. Nada. So I think if you're not trully
sure about these makeup deal, don't wear them at all!!!
Think of it this way. Guys don't like too much makeup. Why wear it if it's
not going to help guys notice you? It makes your face break out. Aren't
those things suppossed to help? Once you wear makeup, you get pimples (in
some cases )!! No makeup is better for your skin.
If lotion is counted as makeup, which I doubt so but I will include them
anyway, I think your legs should be looking as neat as possible. Because,
(**my opinion) I think if your legs looked clean when you jump, it would
look better. So keep them moistured with some lotion. And don't use thoese
sweet smelly lotion. Use the lotion that is fresh and not too heavy with the
smell. Try Ralph Lauren Sports for Women lotions. Oh, they're my favorite.
Please!! wear deoderant!!! For sports activity, wear the Lady Speed Stick. I
love the smell of Secret Shower Fresh. They smell so good even after all those
sweaty sessions!!! Don't miss that one!!!
Your hair should look bouncy, clean, energetic..etc.etc... How do you do
that?? Okay. I like the curls that are really curly so when you put them up in
ponytail, they look even more bouncier. You need to keep all those hair away
from your face. I used a small clip because I was growing out my bangs, but
long enough to get them all in ponytails. They helped my hair stay. Also, use
the school's color hair ribbons to look like you're a real cheerleader!!! Do
everything you can so you'll impress those judges!!! or the crowds!!! YEA!!
you go girl!!
Above all, please don't overdo your makeup, and also keep your smell fresh,
not rich and heavy. Also, Out of all those makeup I suggested, I would
strongly recommend waterproof make-ups for longer stay.
